"John the Franklin" wants to entertain. Period. Our play list is comprised of songs everyone knows or has heard. Our music is not loud or irritating. Smooth vocal harmonies coupled with great music that will make your event sparkle. If you have an event and you want to add to the atmosphere, please call us. "John the Franklin" is:

James Massie - Lead guitar. James started out his musical career on the bass then moved to the guitar. Good thing for us! James' scintillating style really adds to the sound of J t F! James and Frank have played together on and off for over 40 years. Plus James is a walking discographer of bands, songs, guitarist, etc. He's amazing!

Frank Barry - Rhythm guitar, vocals. Frank is a drummer by trade who wanted to expand his musical horizons and bring back those songs he sang to as a young man. Frank is a retired educator of 35 years in Norman as well as a professional tennis instructor.

JtF's music is unique. Frank has recorded live music onto tracks that he and James play along with. It gives the "feel" of a band while allowing them to have a small footprint. You need to hear us.
